Water leak help needed

Hello all,

I am experiencing water leaking out of my furnace. I have noticed it only happens when it rains. It appears to be coming down from somewhere in between the outside and inside wall and is landing on the furnace then dropping down onto all the wood. Any ideas where it's coming from?

If your shower has a white, round access panel in it, open it up and check the anti-siphon valve (if it’s in there). It may be directly over your furnace and they are known to fail.

The other possibility is the check valve on the water heater is leaking and running over to the furnace.

Unless you have some major roof or wall damage, there is no direct conduit for rain water to run inside and come out the furnace panel that I can think of.
