Our “new to us” 2014 Bighorn 3010

Just pulled the trigger after owning a 2001 Holiday Rambler Alumiscape 30RKD for 17 years. Starting a new adventure and all that goes with it.

We have the 2013 version and love it. I am sure you will too. Had some frame flex 3 years ago but the factory fixed it.

This is model is fairly nose heavy and we made it worse by adding washer/dryer. We had a 2500 and in a couple of years damaged the rear end of our 2015 2500. Moved up to 3500 and all was well.

Your tail end seems to be low so I would suggest weighing the unit and calculating how it fits with your truck.

Blazerjohn, We have the 2013 version of the 3010re, and love it. Ours has the partial paint job. Tow with 2013 Ram 2500.
Happy camping and safe travels.

We traded one in on our Landmark a little over a year ago and we towed it 44k plus miles all over the country and had very few problems with it. Good luck and enjoy you new rig!

Congrats on the Bighorn John!

I see you're in California. We have a HUGE group of owners out there and they LOVE to get together. If you've not already done so, consider joining the Heartland Owners Club for free. See link in my sig below.
