LG TV screen blinking

Just shy of 2 year mark and the night before Super Bowl the screen started blinking. Sound good but it is like a strobe light. Pretty sure it is done for. LG warranty one year. Going to call Extended warranty. Do they try to repair TVs these days or just replace? Anyone else replaced 55” TV and what brand did you decide on?

Look up the LG "blinking" on line. The LG is done for, our factory installed died from the "blinking" disease 4 months ago, replaced with another LG because SHMBO likes LG LOL

Had to do some modifying on the swing mount bracket since new holes weren’t close to old ones. Ended up with 1 1/4” gap at the bottom and I can’t move it down without more work so will fill in with a piece of cherry wood. I can cut it up and finish it in the wood shop here at the Resort.
