Basement tv mount.

Good day, new to the forum. We just bought a bighorn 3970 rd and are interested in installing a tv mount in the basement. I was considering a sliding flip down mount that would attach to the top of the basement compartment. Any thought, concerns, or ideas of better options. Thanks Mike

You might test the material to see how well it'll hold.

I should note, there is a piece of 1/2" plywood behind the carpeted OSB for a little extra strength.

What size TV are you using and does that mount slide straight out and then articulate? Like to know mount PN and make. Thanks in advance.

its a 40" yes- has lock - slides out then rotates and locks in several spots- its a mor-ryde unit- ill see if I can find p/n
