Look at the backside, if is is all brass it is the newest version. I think the newer and newest are also only 3 positions on the selector.

I wasn’t planning on tearing the basement apart just to look. It should be marked on the frt somewhere.

No “tearing apart” of the basement bulkhead wall is required, simply remove a few screws and peek inside. Easy.

Turns out there are several variations in the all brass valve. The one made for manufacturers to put into new builds looks a little different from the one used as a retrofit for the plastic valve assemblies. And they make additional varieties that are used by other manufacturers.

Here's the one seen on the manufacturing floor in June. Note that it has 4 selector positions.

And here's the retrofit that replaces the plastic valve assemblies. It has 3 positions.
