Does anyone have any website or info on ordering awning covers in the heavy duty vinyl? I like the stripes not the blended stripes. Current Dometic awning has a cover, 16' long and automatic. Is is possible to DIY?

You can DYI and purchase the material on line and through the dreaded Camping World. You can view on u-tube several videos on how to replace the awning fabric. You will need two tall enough A frame ladders and at least another person. That being said, I would suggest getting it done though. Many parks have mobile awning service advertised. My sister used one on her last trip. All RV service centers told her she needed to replace the entire awning. He took two minuets and told her one hour and a new motor was all that was needed. He fixed it the next day. Specialist will handle the job properly. That is all they do.

We replaced our awning and two of our neighbors in Florida this past season.

It is a very simple process best done with three people.

We all ordered replacement fabric from ShadePro - very reasonable prices and nice quality fabric.

This Youtube video is an excellent tutorial - https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=247&v=cPSk_vUb1KQ

The mounting hardware may be a little different than those shown in the video but is very easy to figure out.

Thanks everyone.....I purchase beautiful fabric from Shadepro.net. Amazingly it matches the original 2011 awning fabric.....The people there were awesome and even sent me two samples before I ordered. The best part was that the fabric was ON SALE!!!!!

I got a new 16’ awning off Amazon. Color matched the burgundy in our 2011 Landmark. Got a local RV repair shop to install it, but it is doable as a DIY.

There is another source for awning fabric. It is Tough Top Awnings. We replaced the slide toppers on our old Laredo and the awning material. It was not a hard job.
They do have videos instructing how to measure and do the replacement work.
