Stair tread cover

I have a 2016 Bighorn, the issue I’m having is, our dog keeps getting his poor claws caught in the holes of the stair tread. Has anyone used a tread cover? Looking at Something like Presto fit. Any ideas would be appreciated.

We used yellow duct tape. Worked really well, and also gave our dog something to focus on vs just black steps.

Them moved to Lippert Solid Steps, which have no holes.

We bought a set of wraparound step covers in Quartzsite that attached with velcro. This was nice because the steps won't close with all of them in place and removing a couple of them for step storage was really easy.

We got our covers at Camping World.

Thanks to all that replied. The tape idea will get me through this trip, and allow time to research steps and or covers. Safe RV’ing and happy traveling to everyone.
