Adding a/c to a cyclone hd4000 garage

Hey folks,
I have a 2014 cyclone 4000hd , there isn’t a/c in the garage only a roof vent and a small fan how would I go about finding out if there is any wiring for an a/c unit in the garage area ? I’ve noticed some toy haulers have 3 a/c units vs mine with only 2
thanks in advance for your comments

Hi Johnandpenn,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum.

The Cyclones set up for 3 air conditioners have a switch to allow you to send power to 2 of them at any one time. If you don't have this switch, you probably don't have the wiring for power and thermostat.

Newer rigs have a PCS Controller instead of a switch.

A start would be to pull the inner vent shroud down and look for any wires close by, probably towards the front of the opening.

Where would this switch be? I’m assuming I don’t have one if I need to ask

Generally it's a wall-type switch below the control panel switches (sometimes close to floor level). It may have 3 positions.

I don't remember if 3 A/C units were available on 2014 models.
