Front passthrough storage on NT 28DLS

On the port side of the front storage the compartment door is smaller than the starbord side because there is something that takes up some of the storage space just behind the door. Does anyone know what is in that space? Directly above it is the bedroom and I was just wondering what is in that space?

There should be some sort of access from the bedroom. A box on the floor or under the bed.
If a box on the floor and it's carpeted, screws for removal will be hidden in the carpet.
Could be the water heater, water pump or a host of other things.
If it's something related to your water system you will need to get to it for winterizing. But I guess being in Florida that won't matter.
