How Could I Re-Install Wiper Seal for 2018 Heartland North Trail RBK22?

This past weekend my wife and I noticed the left wiper seal pulled away from the frame where it is attached. The seal seems like it is in good shape and we noticed a thicker part of the seal looks like it fits into a slot, and apparently it worked it's way out of the slot. I noticed some sticky liquid sealer oozed from the slide out frame was stuck on the wiper seal, so we suspect the sticky liquid sealer stuck to it and pulled the wiper seal out of the slot on the frame when we pulled out the room slide out. I tried pushing the wiper seal back into a slot, but it won't stay in. Is there a trick to keeping the thick part of the seal in the camper frame slot? Again, the seal looks good, and we would hate to pull the camper all the way to the repair shot for a potentially easy fix. Some advice much appreciated in advance.
