Bathroom showerhead

Hi, I was wondering what causes the water in the shower to turn from normal showering temp to just cold water when you're showering and push the trickle button on the showerhead? Our previous camper would stay at the temp we set the shower to when you pushed the button. This camper, the water after a few seconds of pushing the button, goes to just cold

Not sure what causes that but I've always had that problem with all my trailers. Once you turn the water back on, it takes a second or two to return to the set temp so I've never considered it a big deal. That is of course, unless I acciently back up under the cold trickle stream.

The dribble valve changes the flow and pressure balance of the hot and cold resulting in nearly no hot flow in the fribble. I replaced it with a full shut off valve. Now I don't get the cold shock when I turn the shower head back on.

Yeah, my last camper never had it go to full cold. Not a problem, just wondered

Ours turns to full hot and it’s a replacement head. It’s the one for low pressure.

I had the same problem and installed one the following:
KES K1140B BRASS Shower Head Shut-Off Valve

Solved the problem. I got mine from e-trailer.com
