Towing a Torque 371

Anyone towing the 371 with just a 3/4 truck and not a dually? Curious if I could pull it with my 16 Chevy 2500 duramax diesel without issue, seems to be at the top of the weight range...thanks

I have a 2015 Chevy 2500HD gasser with the 4.10 rear end, which probably has a higher payload than the diesel.

I wouldn't even attempt it.

I have a 2010 Dodge Ram drw and I will tell you what, my 371 took every bit my truck had to pull it. I couldn’t imagine doing it without a dual.

Since the motor and transmission for the dually is the same pulling it shouldn't be a problem. Managing the weight would be. IE: Stopping and carrying it (pin weight) would be a problem. With a GVWR of 17k figure on a 3400 lb (minimum) of pin weight. That is 20%. Pin weight on my 15,500 TH is 24% (3600).

I see it done all the time. Would I do it, NO. I had a 2009 F350 SRW and it wasn't any fun, besides being overloaded.
