Aims 6600 watt inverter generator

Does anyone have any experience with the Aims inverter generators, specifically the Aims 6600 watt inverter generator? They seem to be reasonably priced but I can't find a review anywhere.

I have no personal experience with this generator. But I do have a 7,000 watt contractor style generator I use at home. It weighs about as much as the AIMS at 191 pounds. It is “portable” somewhat, in that it can be wheeled from one location to another. It takes 3 people to lift it into the bed of a truck. Not something I would plan to do on a regular basis.

A contractor style generator will make you a pariah in any campground and are banned in some. I call them jackhammers because that's what they sound like.

I agree. This one stays home in the garage. We use it to power the house during brown outs / black outs.

I only mentioned it as it is the same weight as the subject inverter generator.
