Heartland Sundance XLT 310RLS question

I have a question about the switch that looks like a light switch with a lighted toggle next to the Awning and Slideout switches.
Is that for the water heater electric mode?
I have a picture but apparently I cannot upload until I have had a couple of posts approved.

Maybe this is the wrong place to start this but I did not see another place to start a post.

Hi EddieT,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum.

Wall-type switches that light up are usually 1) the 120V AC side of the water heater, or 2) tank heating pads.

I don't think a Sundance XLT comes with tank heating pads, so it's most likely for the water heater. Be sure the water heater tank is full before turning on the switch. If the tank is empty, the heating element will burn out very quickly.

Also, if you have a Suburban water heater, under the exterior cover, in the lower left hand corner, there's a secondary switch that must be ON for power to reach the heating element.
