Dead bolt lock for entry door Sundance 262RB

To deter thieves from destroying the bottom of the flimsy RV doors to gain entry I go to a Big Box store and purchase a dead bolt lock for moble homes. Get the one with the interior knob. I install it about 12 inches from the bottom of the door. Because of the screen door it is not possible to lock it from the inside. we only lock it when we leave for the day or we are away for longer periods of time.

Welcome to the forum. Mounting the lock that low on the door, I would watch out for water intrusion.

Do you have an issue with thieves trying to get into your trailer?
