Bed Clearance

We just purchased a new truck and hitch. When hooked up, our Bighorn is level. However we only have about 4 5/8 clearance with the side of the truck. What is your opinion? I hate to raise the hitch and have the 5th wheel out of level.

You should be good to go. I think they reccommend 5" minimum. 3/8" shouldn't matter. Just watch when turning or backing tight on uneven ground. I think you're good to go.JMO/.

I had to do just that since late 2013. If only raising two inches, it should not be a problem. With the front sloped, it did not add to the height of the fifth wheel.
