Have owned this unit for 16 months and when winterizing noticed a crack approx. 6" long on the side panel 6 1/2 ft up at the rear corner on the driver's side. Seems to begin right at the rear corner under the corner trim and heading towards the front at a sloping 45 deg angle. Going to dealer soon and would like to inquire if anyone has experienced this issue. Totally happy with trailer and of course it will have to be fixed. Wondering, does the fix solve the problem, or does it reoccur ?

Hi Horsefly,

If your 22RBK is a North Trail travel trailer, it's not very common. This type of question usually arises on large fifth wheels. Even on those it's not very common, but a few people have had cracks at the rear of the sidewall - usually around a slideout.

If the side wall structure of your rig is aluminum, there could be a broken weld behind the crack. But it could also be that external forces stressed the sidewall in that area.

The dealer will probably have an opinion.
