Furnace not working...doing nothing. RESOLVED

Our furnace is out! Luckily we are in NE Oklahoma where it’s not crazy cold and we have electric heaters. We would appreciate any advise or help.

It started when we were just on battery (not plugged into the campground electricity). The fan would come on and the flame would try to light. We could hear it clicking but just wouldn’t light. After some research we determined that maybe we didn’t have enough charge on our battery to spin the fan fast enough to “trip” the sail switch. The next day we plugged into the campground electric but now the fan would come on and the flame would never even try to light. So more research... the sail switch could have debris enabling it to close. So we remove the furnace from the compartment, take it apart to clean all areas, and reinstall it. Now NOTHING!! The fan doesn’t start or anything. The voltage coming from the camper “hot” wire reads 0.12, no other wires have a reading.

We are at a loss, is it a mother board issue or a convertor issue. Everything else works fine, all gas appliances and electric.

A couple of things to check:

1. Power to the furnace goes through a fuse in your main fusebox inside the coach. It may have been blown while working on the furnace.

2. In your control panel, there's a test panel that shows water level in the holding tanks. There's probably a set of lights indicating battery/power converter level. If on shore power, you should have 4 lights indicating output of the power converter is good.

Thank you for the reply and advise. The indicator lights show full battery, but upon investigation I found the fuse indeed blew. We checked it before removing the furnace so never thought to check it after. We will replace it and go from there.

Thanks so much!!!

SOLVED!!!!

Thank you so much for the advise!! We isolated it to the propane regulator on the door side.
