differences with Caliper

We just bought our first trailer, a 2017 Heartland North Trail NT King 26 LRSS. In trying to be sure of the exact weight learned that the Caliper edition, which we have, seems to be 300 lbs. or so, heavier and has some extra winterization. Does anyone know the exact weight of the Caliper version and what else is different?

Thanks,

Hi offtrail,

The weight will be accurate if you weigh it as it's loaded for travel. Take it to a truck stop scale.

Here's what I have learned.

The Caliper edition is 5,958lbs, about 300 lbs. heavier compared to the non-Caliber model, which I assume is the Ultralight.

It also has:
Solid Surface Countertops

Beau Flooring (Cold Crack Resistant)

Stainless Steel Sink

Fold-Down Bumper Bike Rack

Spare Tire

Power Awning

LED Patio Lights

LED Interior Lights

Electric Stabilizer Jacks

Power Hitch Jack

Slam Latch Baggage Doors

Hidden Hinges on Cabinets

Porcelain Stool

TV

Black Tank Flush

Duel Ducted A/C

Queen Bed

18 Gal Per Hour Hot Water Heater

All-in-one CD/DVD/AM/FM

Brushed Nickel Hardware

Aerodynamic Painted Front Cap

Digital TV Antenna

Exterior Shower

Night Shades

Dark Tinted Windows

Fully Enclosed and heated underbelly

Wide Trax Suspension

HUGE pass-through Storage

2" Thick Walls

3" Thick Roof

3" Thick Floor
Fully enclosed bottom and some call it Winterized.

Some of these features duplicate the other model.
