How do I remove countertop without damaging it?

Looking to remove my island countertop without damaging it. Suggestions? Looks like it is held in place with loads of staples.

Open the doors and you should see screws holding the countertop down. Hopefully they used screws instead of staples...

Definitely staples. I don't want to damage the bottom of the countertop while trying to pry up the entire surface.
