The awning for my 2012 Heartland Road Warrior is ripped. I’m having a hard time finding a replacement for this model. Does anyone have any ideas of where I can find one and what the cost may be? Thanks!

The awning material is replaceable and does not cost anything as much as a new awning. I took mine to an independent repair facility and had the material replaced. There are also mobile awning repair advertised in some RV parks. My sister had an awning that three RV repair shops told her it was not fixable. She called the advertised awning repair business in the park she was in. He disassembled the motor end. Came back the next day and had it fixed. So unless you want an entire new assembly, save a lot of money and get the sheet cover replaced.

Thinking about replacing the patio awning material. I have watched several U tube videos on how to replace a manual operated awning, but as of yet have not found a U tube video on how to replace the awning material on a electrically operated Dometic awning on my 2010 Bighorn. Also, would like a suggestion on where to purchase the new awning material. As always, any help will be appreciated.

Here is a Dometic 9100 DIY video....he doesn't detail as well as the RVgeek video....the geek video, once you get past the initial hardware segment shows how to mark rivet, awning & valance. Watch both and you will have a good idea of what you need to do.

Thanks for the tips! RV Geeks is one of my favorite YT uploaders. My Awning shrunk when it was retracted so I just need new material, Tough Top isn't too far away.

Awnlux RV camper awning fabric is a great option. This awning fabric has the advantage of being compatible with practically all awning brands. You don't have to own an Awnlux awning to use it. Anything from well-known brands, as well as lesser-known ones, will work.
