Inline 300 amp circuit breaker for Inverter Insall

All,

I am installing a 3000 watt inverter on my 2016 3010RE and have run into an issue.
I need to install an inline 300 amp circuit breaker between the positive battery bank terminal and the positive inverter terminal.
I am using 4/0 guage wire and the lug on the wire to too large to fit on the circuit breaker I have purchased (see attached picture).
Does anyone have a recommended solution for this?

Thanks,
Gary

If it were me I would use a 300amp fuse for that project

If you’re set on using that cable, I would recommend cutting the large terminal off and reinstalling a smaller ring terminal that fits your circuit breaker.
