Cyclone spring hangers

Both rear spring hangers on our 2017 3800 broke as we arrived in Elkhart to have a sidewall crack repaired on Oct. 5th, Lippert was called in to evaluate and make the repairs, from the report they found 2 broken crossmembers, so besides just installing 2 more spring hangers they also performed what they call an "axle retro", this included square tubing welded to the existing crossmembers in the axle area that span across to each i-beam runner and then gussets welded to the i-beam, I don't know if they would have added the gussets on every spring hanger like they did if they had not found the 2 broken crossmembers

Pretty good. I think that will do the job. I added the Morryde X factor, which are kind of similar, as I did not trust my welding skills.

I understand. This support slips on from the front and has the 2 bolts, one on each side of the hanger that clamps it on. It can be removed very easily.
