REHABILITATION OF I-95 FROM I-495 TO NORTH OF BRANDYWINE RIVER BRIDGE "Restore the corridor"
This is a major rehabilitation of 19 bridges, roadways and ramps. The project design began in 2014 and construction is slated to begin February 2021 for 2 plus years.
The project roadway area is in Wilmington Delaware and pretty much begins just north of the the 495 connector.
I-95 north through the area splits in Wilmington just before the access to the Delaware Memorial Bridge into New Jersey.
I-95 ---> 95 & 295 ----> 95 & 495
Even if you are not traveling on 95 north of the Delaware Memorial Bridge Connector, traffic could very well be horrendous around normal commuting time periods which in that area seems to be approximately 5am to 7pm and just a pain all night.
Apparently no discount on tolls for your inconvenience as well.
