    Alberta, canada, new site

Government just set up a new reservation system for provincal parks.
Can now book ahead on some CG's and see the map layout of parks.

I have not spent a lot of time on this site, so for Info, I can not give much.

But for members in Canada or travels to/or through, can now book ahead and see what's there and available

Curious how many people camp ????

    Good question??

Calgary Hearld this morning, site opened May 1
to snap up 2,800 spots. For may long weekend
By 12:00 pm all gone. 146,000 (thousand) tried for the spots in
    3 HOURS period (on line)
from all across North America and over sea's

But had 38 other camp ground not on line but were booked by phone.

Next yr they hope to add 100 more cg's to on line site

NO wonder spots hard to find.
WHO SAID camping is dead or going down ????
Rv sales are still moving off lots.
Must be they fiquer it's cheaper down the road then other forms of travel
