Slide Topper Stitching Starting to Pull Apart

Noticed when I was inspecting the top of the fifth wheel that the stitching next to the slide topper where it attachs to the rail is starting to pull apart. The stitching at the end of the awning is double and triple stitched and looks OK. But just inward of that, the stitching is breaking for...

    Hydralics for slides

We've traveled full-time in our BIghorn for three+ years. I think the hydralic fluid needs to be boosted. Right now, the slides are out, and a pencil line put on the reservoir by the dealer shows the fluid is low. But.... if I put the slides in, maybe it is OK. Also, our handbook on the...

Adding Insulation to the underside of the slides

As winter approaches and the temperatures being to fall. I was thinking that it would be nice to have the floors in the slides a bit warmer. Has anyone added foam insulation under the slideouts? wood under slides

'08 3055 The (black covered) plywood under two of the slides appears to be delaminating along the edges. It looks as though water/moisture is wicking along the edges- about 2" in and the length of the slide. It is soft and beginning to swell along the edge where it is hanging down past the...
