Fuel 287- Need light under the top bunk

The Fuel 287 really needs a light under the top bunk in order to see on the lower bunk. This would be very helpful for the person on the bottom bunk. It would also be helpful to see to eat on the table when the bottom bunk is being used as a dinette. It is very dark trying to eat when it is...

Upper bunk bed in the garage: bed rail ideas?

Hi everyone, Curious to get some feed back from some owners out there who may have young children. We were surprised that Heartland did not provide a ladder to safely access the upper garage queen bunk bed as a standard or as an option. We have young children aged 5 and 8 who we feel are unsafe...

    Bunk light wiring in BHS3300

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how the wiring for the lights in the bunkroom is ran. Right now, only one of the lights in there work, and it's not the bulbs. The center light off the switch is not working either. The only one that does is the lower bunk on the road side of the trailer.

M18 Bunk maybe not rated properly

The M18 Bunk states a limit of 100 lbs. Our lightest daughter is 85 lbs and she has been using that since our other daughter is pushing the limit of the bunk. After the first couple uses we noticed the screen under the bunk wouldn't raise all the way. I thought it was because my wife kept...

    Cyclone bunk bed weight limit

We just recently picked up out first Heartland Cyclone 3010. Other than a few small teething pains the unit is just what our small family hoped for. This forum has been a huge help in answering many of our questions. We do have one concern that we addressed with our dealer and were unable to get...

    M-22 Queen and Bunk Dimensions

I would really appreciate if one of the M-22 owners here could confirm the mattress size of their two rear bunks and the size of the front queen bed. My literature conflicts. Thank you.

    M18 - upper bunk issue

My last complaint for the day ;) The upper bunk has an ussue with how the cupboard doors function. They drop down with the slightest pressure because of the design of the factory latch. Our dealer put a sliding latch on it which Heartland might want to consider. In addition to that I plan to...

    Bunk Mattress question

Recently purchased the 3300BHS that is equipped with 36" w bunks on one side and 30" w on the other. Planned to remove the smaller ones and replace it with a desk but the water heater is located on the smaller size. As an adult will be using this space, need a regular type mattress and replace...

Is there a way to add sofa/bed to back bunk

I have a 3210 with the twin beds in the back. Now if I remember the queen beds in the larger trailers can also be a sofa when you want a place to sit. So my question is, Has anyone converted the twin to also be a sofa when needed?

    28bhs bunk sizes

Have any of you measured the rear bed/bunk dimensions in the 28bhs? Thanks.

    bunk access

For peace of mind we wanted a safety bar on the bed. Our 9 y/o daughter is old enough to sleep up there safely, but she is a restless sleeper and we have seen her with a foot (or two) and part of her leg hanging over the side (she sleeps with her head at the far end). I just fabricated an 8"...

    Bunk ladder

What have others done to replace their bunk ladder with an aftermarket ladder? The one that came with the Cyclone is not foot friendly, unless you are wearing shoes. With two little ones it seems we are always climbing up there. If the rungs were flat it would eliminate the pain.

What are you guys doing for a bunk bed rail?

Its strange that RV manufactures don't put some kind of safety rail on bunk beds. My son is 5 and I am currently scared to let him sleep on our 2998's top bunk because it looks so easy to roll off of. Has anyone found a mod that works for the top bed? I was going to build a rail but realized...
