Our sat reciever would not fit behind the TV so had to come up with a better way.So for less than 25.00 this is what we came up with.Our local HD had cherry shelves that matched very well and with 1/4"x6" bolts and 3/8 plastic water line we have a place to put the recieiver.

I have seen many different TV ideas for the basement but we came up with this entertainment center. It houses 22" TV, Home entertainment unit with DVD, CD and FM Tuner. Also connected Sony Playstation and I-Pod. Everything is mounted to the unit and is removable in one piece for winter storage.
