Glad we checked email because Ross would like to play golf too. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
Have been on a road trip for a couple weeks to Zion, Bryce, Page (Antelope...Slot Canyons), Monument Valley, Mesa Verde, Canyonlands and Arches Nat'l Park today. Each place has been spectacular. And what a great time of the year for visiting Nat'l Parks. Not so crowded, plus the weather has been mild and the fall colors are starting to show in Colorado. Starting to head back west tomorrow, including a few days in Eastern Oregon to visit Ross's brother.

We are now home after 20 days of travel. Passed on Oregon this time because it was too far out of the way. Anyway, at this point we're kind of in great vacation overload. So much fun. Loved the Nat'l Parks and found wonderful RV resorts along the way. It's the 1st time we've done an impromptu trip and it was nice to be able to just stop if something looked interesting. That worked out well because several places we stayed longer. Each location had WiFi so I'd use www.rvparkreviews.com to find the next destination. So many good tips like best space to request, best location for wifi, places to eat, etc. Also whenever we'd get to an area we'd check out trip advisor for the best places to eat, things to do,etc.
Looking forward to seeing you all next week. Not sure exactly how early in the day we'll get there because we may have company stopping.

Hi Jim,
Kevin & Hennie arrived yesterday (Tues), Bob & Patty are arriving today (Wed) and 11 rigs due in tomorrow (Thurs). 9 rigs arriving on Friday and 1 arrives in on Saturday. 2 just cancelled out last minute! We're in space #32, which is located at the back end of the park (where all the Airstreams were last year). GREAT weather for the weekend and it'll be lots fun with all that I've planned for everyone! Have a safe flight and we'll see you tomorrow!

Hi everybody who is having a great time in Jackson at the rally. Debbi and I just want to wish you all a great time and we wish we were there sharing in on the fun, but my body refused to heal in time. You will all have a blast especially having Teresa and Art throwing the shebang. Say to everyone for us, and hope to see many of you in Buellton for the SoCal rally in November.

Hi to all the people we met up in Jackson on Saturday!
I have to tell you - y'all are an exceptionally bad influence. We just came up for the day to see if there were any North Trail owners around who could advise us on our recently-purchased but not-yet-delivered North Trail 28RLS. No such luck. Instead there was mile after mile of Bighorns, with an occassional LandMark and some SOBs.
We did stop and talk with Art and Teresa and Jim and Jim and Lucy and Bo and Bob and quite a few others. The last words we heard as we left the RV park and headed for the casino for some chow was "If you want to trade your North Trail for a 5th wheel, now is the time to do it." We didn't know then how prophetic those words were.
After leaving the Rancheria we headed back down the hill to our home in Sacramento. On the way I thought we would stop by the dealer from whom we ordered our NT. It was due within the next few day, so I thought we could get a status report.
Instead we got a Landmark Grand Canyon!
Sitting there on the lot was a brand new, recently arrived rig. I jokingly told the manager that we weren't interested in the North Trail after seeing all the nice units up in Jackson. Ooops. Judy went out to look at the units on the lot and was blown away with the Grand Canyon! I said we shouldn't get a rig like that unless we sold our house and went full-timing again. She said "OK!"
After I got back up off the ground we started seriously talking with the manager. He did us real well, and wasn't sorry at all to apply our deposit to the Landmark instead of the North Trail. Done deal!
Yesterday we went out and bought a 2007 F350 diesel dually to pull our new home with. We'll be hitting the road full time starting at the beginning of the year. Meanwhile we hope to get a spot at Buellton and will see many of you bad influences again!

Had a good time at the rally, thanks to all who donated items and thanks again to all who helped. We were there till fri., power went out 2x, rain wind and all that stuff. Still had fun.
Kevin and Hennie, enjoyed you helping with my speeches, wanted to say goodbye, opened the blind and you were gone, so goodbye.
Bob and Patty, enjoyed lunch, also you were gone, how did you leave with out us hearing you as you were next to us so goodbye. Like your ladder box. Thanks for all your help.
Dale and Judy, thanks for the badges and your company. Only person with 13 out of 13 questions correct, I'm impressed !!!
Dave and Kathy, build you house back bigger and better.
Troy and Carol, thanks for your help and donations.
Greg, wanted to steal your flashlight during game but having a nice conversation so I will go to Costco. Enjoy your trip to the coast.
Jim and Lucy, enjoy your new rig, you still make the best margaritas. Next time I will bring an extension cord for power outages.
Bob and Bo, enjoyed seeing you while you had two rallys.
John and Lori, when John said how to arange the tables for the Sun. dinner I just got out of the way, the tables were flying. Thanks for helping with my final speech, pictures and lots more.
