2011 Heartland prowler 29 battery size

What is the factory battery size for this rig? I have a DC24MF that came with the camper. But last year on a hunt my camper heater couldn’t even run all thru the night. I need to know if this is even big enough for my camper or if I need to double up on batteries.

A pair of group 27 batteries would help. But if you're planning on running the furnace for more than 1 or 2 days, you probably need solar or a generator.

I have a generator I run for an hour each day. Is 27 the factory size? Would 2 6v buy me more time

Our 2011 Landmark came with a single Group 27 provided by the dealer. Our friend bought a similar 2012 Landmark that came with a Group 24 provided by the dealer. I'd be surprised if your dealer provided a battery larger than Group 24 for your Prowler.

I think there are varying opinions on two 6V in series versus two 12V in parallel. Perhaps others with 6V experience will chime in.
