21RBSS bed plywood too short.

we found the stock plywood for the bed was too short and when sitting on the edge of the bed the mattress would fold down. I replaced the plywood with a larger piece so the whole mattress is now supported, bonus is the plywood extension makes lifting it up easier to access the under bed storage area and not have to fight with the mattress first before lifting it up.

In the 3670 we had, the problem was the overhanging OSB was Sliver City. So I trimmed the edges with 1x1 outside corner trim.

Did you make sure that the extra piece of wood will not interfere when bringing the slide in? That is the reason they gave me on my Bighorn.

our bed stays down and does not flip up. but to answer you statement on clearance of the slide yes the slide clears by an inch or more. see pic.
