Hello Heartand owners. There is a 2011 Heartland Road Warrior 281 coming up at a local abandoned vehicle auction. I’m hoping I can get a good deal. Have any of you bought RVs at these auctions befor and if so what was your experience like? Is it reasonable to think I could get a good deal? What should I be looking for in terms of the condition of the RV? And just for fun, assuming it’s in good condition, what would your high bid be? Thanks In advance!

The biggest thing for me would be water leaks. If it smells musty the odor will never go away without replacing the rotted wood. Could be a minor repair or a major repair. Most likely major.
Check the age and condition of the tires. Unusual wear could represent an axle problem.
I have no idea on pricing. Check Good Sam and Kelly Blue Book.
