Amishcountry.org Phishing, Beware!

Beware - if you get an email from "Amishcountry.org" asking you for a favor, it is ​

NOT legit. I say again, it is NOT legit.​

AmishCountry.org is the Elkhart County visitors bureau which we've used several times. But the email we received was just 'off' enough to make me question it, so I called them and it turns out is was bogus and that they already knew about it and that they are taking steps to fix it.

I had to do a little research because the difference of caps or no caps in URLs in most cases makes no difference. You still end up at the same place. Punctuation can make a difference. In the case you mention using either takes you to the same URL VisitElkHartCounty.com

http://www.elkhartcountyindiana.com/visitors/ also takes you to the above.

So, I am not sure what URL you got that was incorrect but it appears it is not those you mention.

I actually did receive something from them but did not reply since like you Lyle I thought I just wasn't right
