Awning Issue, fabric creeping

Noticed the faric on the roller is creeping to one side, which in turn has pulled the side bars to one side and will not shut. Any body have this happen and know how to correct this. Thanks

Your awning material may be creeping in the channel on the sidewall. There should be a screw holding it in place.
Extend the awning and slide the welt in the sidewall track till the awning material is evenly taut. Test by retracting the awning and make adjustments as needed. Don't forget a small screw to hold it in place. You should see where the original screw was.
