Battery problems

We are having a problem with a drain in our batteries.
We have a new Trail Runner that came with a 12 volt battery.
With everything off except for the refrigerator which is run on propane.. our battery drained down every night.
We were told to go to a bigger battery. So we bought 2 new 6 volt batteries.
The same thing is happening..we have a drain somewhere.
Has anybody else experienced this problem?
Also should a refrigerator that is running off propane still be drawing the battery down that much?
How much drain does a refrigerator use?
Thanks

Hello Choctawlabs and welcome to this great forum.
There are a few things that could be draining your battery.
As you have already mentioned the refrigerator uses 12 volts as well as the propane detector, your radio may be on standby at all times and if you leave the antenna booster on it will also draw on the 12 volt system.

I'm sure that others will chime in with more help.

Peace
Dave

You should be able to run the refrigerator on propane for several days before draining a single battery.

Here's a link to some information on diagnosing parasitic draw.
