I heard this on Joel Osteen's broadcast the other day:
It seems that Adam was getting very lonely being in the Garden of Eden by himself, God saw this and spoke to Adam: "Adam, I want to make a PERFECT companion, lover and helpmate for you. You will no longer be lonely or have a care in the world". Adam said: "God this is terrific, but how much will it cost me?" God said: "An arm and a leg". Adam then said: "What can I get for just a rib?". AND THE REST IS HISTORY!
