Blackout shades in the bedroom

It would be nice if the bedroom slideout windows had blackout blinds... no need to get up with the sun when on vacation :)

I used a Limo tint on the bedroom windows. It helped quite a bit. Lin also made drapes out of heavier fabric. It stays pretty dark in our bedroom.

One thing that we did was to install two of the Camco pillow vent insulators in the fans. Made a BIG difference in the light coming in through the bedroom and bathroom vent fans. Plus helped to keep things warmer in winter and cooler in summer. They have stayed in place without any need to use the velcro supplied with them.

We cut to fit the foil that you can purchase at CW for all of the windows in the bedroom and put the foam inserts in the vents. It helps with the heat and cold also lets us sleep in.

I bought blackout shades from BlindsChalet online for my bedroom windows. They work great and are the best value that I've found for custom shades.
