Blackwater tank seems to have filled from water pump?

Please be nice. I am completely new.
We just got our 5th wheel and are currently moving into it. We wanted to be able to wash our hands, and filled the fresh water tank.
(Everything was completely emptied when we bought it)

Once it showed 2/3 full, we turned off hose and turned on water pump.

I then turned on kitchen sink.
I hear the pump...no water.

I turn off sink. Water pump continues to run.

🤨 My husband off handedly says, is the toilet running at all?
I go and check, no water running but I press pedal down out of curiosity and it's FULL!
Keep in mind, we haven't USED the toilet. Should be dry.

I will show picks, so u can see we did not confuse the fresh water (pour in style fill hole) with the black water flush port (screws to a hose style...)

PLEASE help me figure this out.😭
There should be NO connection between FRESH water holding tank and the BLACK water holding tank!! (Right?? 💩🤢)

You probably hooked the hose to the black tank flush instead of the fresh water port. Check that first... and drain your black tank.

I agree with your assessment. There are only two ways for water to get into the black tank: the tank flusher or the toilet bowl. (Unless Gomez hooked the flusher to the water pump due to No Hable)
