California campgrounds

We were camping alongside the ocean at Faria Campground between Ventura and Carpentina California on HWY 1. Nice campground and we were in site 18 about three feet from the ocean. The view is was great outside our back window. My wife said it looked like a screensaver on a computer screen. Electric and water hookups no sewer. First come first served so best get there Tuesday or Wednesday to get a spot, the weekend fill up fast.

Nice. Driven Dow that highway and saw RVs but parked up higher, on a road I think.

I was staying at Ventura Beach and RV Resort last week and drove thru Faria to check it out. Jim if you parked on the road you must have been at Rincon.

I was not parked there myself. I was driving a rental car and heading from Buellton to the Ontario airport when I saw them. Two different trips actually. Looking at a map now, I think I saw some parked on the beach access road as I would not have been able to see the beach from the highway at this spot (while driving by
