Checking for new posts

I thought I had this figured out....but I'm missing something.

I was clicking on the "What's New?" link in the main menu bar, thinking I would see all new posts since my last login.

Well, I posted a few replies...closed browser. Came back a few mins later and my posts were not listed when I clicked on the "What's New?" link.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Oregon_Camper,

Your posts are new to others, but since the forum software recognizes that you wrote them, they're not new to you.

After clicking on What's New, look under the buttons for Activity Stream. Your most recent posts will show up there.
