Coffee Creek RV Resort and Cabins, Santo, TX

We stopped here as we usually do after lengthy trips as it is less than two hundred miles to our home and the big new is that this park has been bought and taken over by the folks who own and operate Oak Creek RV Park just up the road in Weatherford.

Apparently, this has happened very recently as the people working here are Oak Creek employees and are just here temporarily. The only continuity appears to be a couple of park hosts. They said the owners planned on bringing this place back up to the standard it was a couple of years ago. This has been home to the North Texas Chapter spring rally for the last two or three years, but the maintenance of the park has steadily deteriorated.

After the conditions at this years rally, Jay, Nancy, and Dave decided to move the rally next year (i think it might be Oak Creek, but don't remember).

Safe travels Mike and Peg. Thanks for the update on Coffee Creek. We are in Nashville tonight. Memphis the next two nights and then Vicksburg for two nights before getting home.
