Damaged outer part of slide.

I was shredding near our Greystone 33ck and threw a rock into the back slideout. It hit the very bottom panel and put a hole in it and smashed it pretty good.
It is only about the bottom foot of the slideout and looks to be replaceable. My question is Can it be replaced fairly easily? I am mechanical and can fix most things.
And,,,,,where do I order this part? Thanks in advance.....

Hi Brandon,

You can call Heartland Customer Service, ask for parts, 877-262-8032 or 574-262-8030, have your VIN handy and also have a picture or two. They can most likely help you.

That bottom part, if sheet metal, is called j-wrap. It's pretty easy to replace. It's not terribly expensive but crating and motor freighting the 10- foot panel is expensive. Some dealer keep stock of this product. Check a Heartland dealer.

The issue that you will have is painting the J wrap. I don't believe they come in color's, they normally are white. Maybe HL has them in color's, so give them a call. As stated, have your VIN# handy.

BTW, it's a good thing there was not anybody standing there. WOW
