Drains

I have a 2017 Big Country. Out of the blue the drain above the drivers side axles started running water, clear. It ran all night and had slowed down by morning; however, it started draining again as soon as we got up and started our normal activities. Does anyone know the purpose of this drain and what I can do to fix this situation? I have had this trailer for 2 years and it’s never done this. Also, I live in South Texas
