I installed one of these on our bedroom AC and ran tests during the 5 learning cycles, and then afterwards.
The best source I had to use was our 5.5KW Onan for the learning process, then hooked in our boondocking mainstay 3KW to watch amp draw, and the sound/tone of both the generator and compressor at startups. I wished I still had our old 2K Yamaha suitcase genny to compare....I may borrow a buddy's 2K sometime just to compare vs. 3K.
I am totally impressed. It works as designed if one feels they may need one. You won't be disappointed.
