Entry ideas for older folks

What ideas or suggestions would you have for older folks in getting them into a RV? If steps on coach are spaced far apart, could be difficult for them. Make a ramp w/ non skid tape on it? Long time ago, saw an electric lift mounted side of RV by door w/ swing platform. Just planning ahead when we host a BBQ and have my parents over (if they come) as they are not as feeble as we are and looking to make it easier for them to get inside if they want to. TIA.

Our Oshkosh has solid steps similar to these and the whole unit can be lifted with one hand as there is lift assist. Ours have four steps and they are very sturdy. It took a couple of trips to get used to them, but now I think they are the best steps we have ever had

We are huge fans of the Glowsteps. They are very sturdy and fold up like OEM steps. We even stored our portable steps with porch for later in life when we're not traveling any more.
