We all were first timers at one time. Excited for you and looking forward to meeting you. Also to notify folks that we are now coming in on Tuesday instead of Wednesday.

Kelly, you may have seen it on Facebook, but now we are hoping to arrive Thursday. Hopefully the motor will come in and the slide will be fixed. I just don't want to depend on the override. I changed our reservation (third time).

Here's a hint for arriving at the KOA after dark. The lights in their sign do not work and it's impossible to see where to turn into the park. When you going west on Hwy. 105, you will come to Walden Rd. where there is a traffic light. The Wal Mart Supercenter is on the right. Go through this traffic light and you will soon see the Big Sombrero restaurant lit up on the right. Keep on going past the Magnolia Diner and get into the left turn lane. At the traffic light, turn left into the KOA parking lot.
I know that these directions are pretty red-neck, but we ARE in Texas...

Ok, Kelly, the repair folks called me and they found the problem (occurred after they installed the motor) and are able to fix it, but we won't be there until Friday. I have site 124 which I understand is a back in, but is 75 feet long so no problem.

Peggy will be preparing some kind of carrot cake concoction (AKA carrot cake trifle) for the pot luck. See you when we get there (If the rig tests out ok when I pick it up tomorrow).

As long as you get here safely...that's all I care about. See you Friday!

Michael and I had planned to go around the RV park this evening and hand out an agenda to those that are already here. However, the weather has decided to make that a bit hard so I'm attaching the agenda here (and posting on the FB group).

If you are planning to go to the Funeral Museum tomorrow we will begin lining up in the big parking lot at 9:00 am and then heading out about 9:15 as we will caravan to the museum.

If you chose to meet us at the museum the address is:

415 Barren Springs Dr, Houston, TX

If you have questions you can call us at 334-730-5478 or 334-730-5476

Kelly, in case you didn't see it on Facebook, we really tried, but are not going to be able to make it (Peggy won't let me tow with a half open slide). We're really sorry that we are missing it. Thanks for all you and Michael did to set it up though.

:( I heard this morning that you weren't going to be able to make it. We're all going to miss you! Hoping and praying you get your slide issue fixed once and for all....soon!

Have you heard? T&S has put together a crew to wash rigs on Saturday 11/3 here at the park.

They will wash, hand dry and clean tires of your coach on site. Price is $80

If you would like a wash, contact Tim ASAP to get put on the list.
