Re: WA Anacortes Rally

Hello,
My name is Jerry Worth (AKA Gizzy), Lily and I are on an extended trip from Alabama and just arrived in Anacortes. We plan to be here visiting a friend until next week and was wondering if you would mind if we joined you for your pot luck. We would love to spend some time with fellow Heartlanders and chat a bit. We really enjoyed the Goshen rally last Jun and plan to stop at our next state AL/MS chapter rally in Oct on our way back home. We would love to join you guys.

Hello!

You and Lily are more than welcome to join us! We look forward to it. See you this weekend!

At some time in the next year or so we hope to make a rally in the Washington area. We have a son, daughter-in-law and grand-daughter that are moving to the Vancouver, WA area. Hope to see you soon.

Re: WA Anacortes Rally

We will be there shortly!

Might be a good time to discuss the next event! Perhaps something on the east side of the state for next year? Also...nothing wrong in doing a smaller campout before winter hits!

We finally found a truck yesterday but the hitch won't be installed until next week, would still like to come up Sat for a bit to get some stories from you all. Husband is finally home so it would be great for both of us to visit with other HL owners. Hope that is okay - we can bring food.... ;)

Have fun guys. Wish we could be there with you for your first rally, but shovelguy will represent Oregon just fine.

Well, we are from the "dry side" of the WA Mtns....wish we could come over....but on our trip to Wenatchee 2 weeks ago....Our Ford decided to blow something up (again) on the motor....so we right now have a 2007 Dodge 6.7 sitting in the front yard and we just have to decide (which I think we have) on trading in the Ford.

Maybe next year we can make it over...would love to meet other Heartland owners. Hope everyone has fun.

Friday night meet and greet under sunny skies was great. There are ten units here I believe and we had two out of state guests who will be back for the pot luck. It is so nice to meet and mingle. d&j

We got back to Seattle around 2 this afternoon. We are not very far from Anacortes. This was our first rally and Steve did a great job organizing this, his first rally also. Met a lot of fine people and really enjoyed ourselves. Way too much food available for our potluck and it was way too good. And no one brought dessert but Steve and wife provided some good cookies, coffee and cupcakes. Coffee and donuts this morning were very welcome. Tidied is over until this evening when we ate some of our leftovers. Talking about another rally this fall and organizing the trip to Gillett next year. People from Oregon, Alabama and California along with assorted dogs and at last count, four cats.

The rally was a big success and we really enjoyed meeting everyone and comparing notes on our rigs. The Herricks were fantastic hosts and even the rain cooperated by waiting until Monday.
