As those who are at the campout get ready to sit down to the Thanksgiving Feast, I wanted to take the opportunity (with all kidding aside) to let everyone know that John and I have a great deal to be thankful for! Although we couldn't find a way to get out of work this week, we have had calls, comments on the forum and Facebook and emails from those who did make it to Willow Tree. We are blessed with your company so often that you feel like family! We send our thanks for our Heartland Family and pray for your safe return home. Thank you for taking us into your hearts and allowing us to bring you into ours. Until the next time we meet, know that we love you one and all!

Harvey,

Too bad we had to cancel because we do have another piece of furniture for sale. I'm gonna build a sofa across the back of our coach and our Flair "jewel" will be excess to our needs. Where will we cross paths so you can take ownership? :D

We are currently back in our Lady Lake, FL nest and every where I look there is something to do. This "Hill" one site campground is nowhere near as nice as Oak Plantation or Willow Tree.

Our best to all at Willow Tree and safe trippin' to your next port of call!!!

Deb,

You did good in setting up this end of season campout. Lots of rigs, lots of great people and a whole lot of fun. Wish you guys could have made it, but it was not meant to be this time.

Thanks for doing all the leg work for us. With Protos, Wolbecks and others, the show goes on!

We all feel the same way Deb, we miss and love you and John as well. Thanks for being the greatest Northeast Region Directors but most of all our family! Love, Jim and Colleen

Sadly, many of this camp-out's attendees had to head out this morning. We had fun you guys!

I guess the die hards are still here! :)

This afternoon, a bunch of us went back into Myrtle Beach. Beautiful day. Walked the boardwalk, ate lunch, rode the Ferris wheel, had ice cream and some of us even frolicked on the beach and in the ocean.

Fun stuff.

Excuse me....there was no frolicking on the aganda! If I knew that I would have called out sick for a month or so....

Glad you guys are having a good time and enjoy the Casino Cruise today.

Frolick is such a flexible word.

The sand felt great until we got to the wet sand. The water was BRRR cold. But we went out up to our calfs or so. Lot's of dead jellyfish to dodge on the beach and washing up. And of course, some fun with the shore showers to clean the sand off. Sorry Kevin :)

9 of us heading out to sea on the SunCruz Casino ship. We have all filled our bellies on the buffet line and just heard the word that the casino will open in five minutes. Hoping the slots are liking me today.

Some winners - some losers on the casino cruise yesterday (Friday) - but a fun time was had by all.

After we got back to the CG around 5pm, 15 of us headed out for dinner together at Carraba's in North Myrtle Beach. GREAT time!

I guess no one really wants this "Camp-out" to end :)

Sadly, today it ends for us :( Got all the outdoor stuff put away yesterday, flushed the black tank yesterday too. Having some breakfast now, a little TV and we'll be gone by 9 am - I hope. Pushing to Asheville, NC tonight. May stay there for 2 nights.

Good bye Heartland friends - we had a BLAST here at WillowTree with all of you. Have a safe and comfortable winter season and hope to see many of you in the Spring. Unless some of you visit us in Crossville over the winter :)

Arrived home tonight Sunday at about 7:15PM. I hate the NJ thruway. Took us over 5 hrs to drive 110 miles. So sad the last trip of the season. We had a great time at Charleston and Willow Tree. Can't wait for next year.

Hey Maryann,

Glad you guys made it home safe. It took us almost 5 hours too. We made it home by 7:00pm. We hit a lot of traffic on the Garden State too. Too many people live in Jersey LOL! I too am sad but I am looking so forward to 2012 rallies they seem awesome. Jim and I had a really great time @ Willow Tree and are so glad we decided to go. Talk to you soon it was great traveling with you guys!

Well our first HOG season has come to sad but good end. Dropped our BH off at Crossroads RV for some service and repairs and then continued home to Putnam County NY. Long day of travel but no problems. I want to say thanks to all the new camping friends we made this year and can't wait to get started again in 2012. I am so full from eatting so much I am considering hibernating like a bear all winter so the down time will pass quick and I can wake up and start again. Happy Holidays to all and looking forward to talking to all on the forum when I am not hibernating.
