I just want to say a big THANK YOU to all the participants in last night's Pot Luck and especially those that brought meats prepared in their smoker.
The variety of foods in every category would rival any restaurant.
As much as I'd love to I'm sure it's a good thing we don't sit down to a feast like that every night.

Nancy and I are leaving this morning, a day earlier than planned so we can take our time getting to Branson on Tuesday.

We too wish to take a moment to acknowledge all the work that went into this rally. Thank you so much Dave Yocum, Julie Hancock, Nathan Byrd Mathis and many others who assisted.

WE HAD A GREAT TIME! Great campground / great area.

The Mathis' have made it to Hoover AL. Gosh - what can one say but WOW what a rally. Thanks to Dave and Julie and all the staff for a wonderful time in Pigeon Forge.
Blessed with a beautiful rainbow after the hail storm.
And then the Hatfield and McCoy Dinner show with Heartlander's participating in the relay race.

We had a great time, wish we could have spent more time on site but my mother became very ill on Saturday and we had to run to Knoxville. Was able to get back today just long enough to hook up and pull out. If you are wondering, yes there is a downside to a rally being in your hometown.

I had a great time telling everyone a little about the park Thursday night. If any of you have any more questions or come back for a visit don't hesitate to give me a shout.

If you heard the talk you got the number one question we get asked all the time, "when do we let the bears out" but I didn't give you number two and three.

#2. When do we turn the smoke machine on and off
#3. Where does all the water come from in the streams running off the mountains.

Enjoy meeting all of you, and seeing some old friends in the process as well. Always fun hanging with a group of Heartlanders.

Thanks Dave and Julie for the great Rally. We had a great week in the Smokey Mountains. Elaine and I made the 630 mile trip back to Springfield Il with no problem today. Looking forward to our next Rally in Springfield in June.

Elvis and I had a Great time at our first Rally! Everyone was so awesome and we really felt apart of the group! It will take us a few more times to remember names but we are looking forward to continued friendships. Our next rally will be the one in Chattanooga in September so we're hoping to see many of you again then. We would also like to say a big thank you to Dave and Julie and everyone else who gave of their time to make this rally a success!

Thanks to everyone for a GREAT first rally. Special thanks to the organizers for so many planned activities. We plan on attending the national rally next year and extending the stay with friends we met. Our next rally will be in South Carolina. We had so much fun talking to old and new members and the vendors. My only disappointment was that after talking to Sonny with RV Improvement Systems, we were sold! If he had inventory and a crew, we would have had a new suspension installed at the rally. Now, we have to be patient and wait for inventory to catch up to demand. See some of you at the South Carolina rally and next year at the national rally.
