We will be taking our first extended trip in our 3400 re. We are going to ft. meyer's Florida the first of the year. Any recommendation's for camp grounds in this area? Need a big spot seeing I'm not the best backerupper in the world. Thanks folk's-bb

We're staying at Riverside RV Resort in Arcadia (http://www.riversidervresort.com/) - located between Arcadia and Port Charlotte and not far from Fort Myers.

Spacious sites and right on the Peace River.

Not sure if they have any sites available but worth a call.

We'll be there January through March - feel free to stop by!

Might want to consider a Park a few miles east of Tampa. It's part of the chain called SUN RV Resorts.
The park is "Tampa East" located just off Route 4 at exit 14.

There are a few open sites still but I'm sure some are waiting till after Christmas before heading south. I'd make a call as soon as you decide where you plan to stay at. Just down the road is also a RV dealer called Lazy Days, they too have a RV park.
